What to Expect

Your first visit will be an evaluation which will be performed by one of our licensed therapists. It is wise to wear or bring comfortable loose clothing that allows us to get to the affected area. The initial evaluation will take approximately one hour, or slightly longer. It could take longer if we are seeing you for more than one area of treatment.

The appointment will consist of a discussion with your therapist regarding your medical history and background. The physical or occupational therapist will examine the affected area or condition which includes measurements of strength and range of motion. The initial visit will also include a short treatment of manual therapy or modalities for pain control and some exercises for you to start at home.
