Our goal at Hi Desert Physical Rehabilitation Group is to help our patients achieve improved function and a higher quality of life. We have qualified, knowledgeable, experienced physical, occupational, and speech therapists on staff who work with children and adults. With offices in Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley, CA, we provide services for patients of all ages throughout the surrounding areas.

What to Bring

Please arrive 15 minutes before your initial appointment to complete your patient registration. You may also choose to download and print out the forms down below and fill them out prior to your appointment. However, we request that you still arrive early so you can provide us with the following:

Hi Desert Physical Rehabilitation Group accepts all major health insurances, workers’ compensation carriers, Tricare, and Medicare. The company also contracts with Morongo Unified School District to supplement its mandate to care for their students with special needs, and with Inland Regional Center for children ages 0-3.

On Your First Visit – Evaluation

Your first visit will be an evaluation performed by one of our licensed therapists. We recommend wearing or bringing comfortable, loose clothing that allows us to access the affected area. The initial evaluation will take approximately one hour, or slightly longer if we are seeing you for more than one area of treatment.

The appointment will consist of a discussion with your therapist regarding your medical history and background. The physical or occupational therapist will examine the affected area or condition by measuring strength and range of motion. The initial visit will also include a short treatment of hands-on therapy, some therapeutic activities, and some exercises for you to start at home.
